Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing well and God is blessing your socks off.  Here is a quick update on how things are going in my life.  Staff life here in Colorado has been nothing short of amazing and challenging at the same time.   My first week was crazy, I met so many people and just jumped right into whatever the base needed me to do!  Everyday I was able to do something different, one day I was in the kitchen prepping lunch then later that same day I was working on a vehicle, there is never a dull moment at YWAM Denver.  After my first week I was approached by leadership and they asked me if I would be interested in living up at our mountain campus to work with a Young Peoples DTS.  I was shocked and thrilled, because they usually don’t ask first time staff to work with a school right away.  They usually like to let you have some time to get acquainted with staff life before they ask you to work a school, so for them to ask me was quite suprising, but at the same time I was honored so I agreed!  So, what this means is that I will be working directly with the students that are attending the YPDTS and I will have the opportunity to disciple and encourage them.  I am also leading a small group of four guys.  Every week I meet with my boys and we talk about how they are doing and what God is doing in their lives.  It has been such a blessing to be apart of this school and to be apart of these young guys lives.  I can truly see God doing some amazing things in my boys lives and it’s only been the first week.  I’m super excited for what God has in store for each one of them and for what He is doing in my life as well!  I am truly blessed to be apart of something so special.  This is just a brief update on how things are going.  Please let me know how things are going with you and let me know how I can be praying for you!  I’m so grateful for all of you and look forward to sharing more about what God is doing.

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog page.  First off I want to say thank you for taking the time to check out my page.  Over the past year God has been doing some pretty amazing things in my life!  Back in September of 2008 I felt the Lord leading me into full-time ministry/missions so I began to pray about where and what God wanted me to do.  After a lot of prayer I felt that going back to YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and taking a leadership training school was where He wanted me to start.  So, in March of this year I went out to Arvada Colorado and enrolled in a three month intensive leadership school.  During the three months of the school I really felt the Lord challenging me the area of being a servant.  I felt like God wanted me to put my own desires and wants aside and focus on the needs of others.  As I began to do this I realized that this is the type of life God was calling me to live.  Serving others is one of those things that truly makes me come alive.  I love to meet the needs of other people in a real and practical way and show them a little bit Jesus.  I knew that this is what God was calling me to do so I prayed about where God wanted me to serve and I felt lead to come on staff with YWAM Denver.  During one of my prayer times about coming on staff with YWAM Denver the Lord gave me a verse from Philippians.  He gave me Philippians 4:9 which says, “whatever you have learned or received from me, or seen in me put into practice.  And the God of peace will be with you.”

While I am here at the YWAM Denver base I will get the opportunity to serve and grow deeper in my walk with Christ.  I will also be working with students who come to Denver to attend our schools.  Every three months we will have a new group of students come to our base and do what is called Discipleship Training School.  This is a five month school that is three months of lecture and two months of outreach to another country.  Also during the three month lecture course we will be taking the students out into the community to serve.  We will be doing things like helping at homeless shelters and spending time with the inner city community.  Because YWAM is a non-profit organization I will not be getting paid for what I will be doing.  My reward for doing what I’m doing is seeing the lives of so many people changed by God.  We serve an amazing God that loves us so much and wants to have a deep passionate relationship with each one of us.  If you would like to partner with me in what God is doing in and through my life please let me know.  I will need all the prayer support I can get as well as financial support.  God calls each one of us to serve.  We all have our own mission field whether it be at work, home, or our very own community.  For this season in my life this is what I feel that this is what and where God wants me to be, but I can’t do it without your love and support.  I will be living at the YWAM base which cost 100 dollars a month along with other expenses such as cell phone and insurance.  Please pray and see how the Lord would lead you to partner with me.  Thank you again for taking the time to listen to what God is doing in and through my life.  I would like to stay in touch with each and every one of you so please leave me your email or phone so I can keep you updated on what God is doing here.
